Consulting / Training

There are several levels of services we can offer to you. From a 1 day program to introduce you to the complexities of the Chinese Market, to a three day, complete and detailed overview of all the workings involved in doing business in China.

We are available to come to your place of business and provide a training program for all your key people designed to teach you the basics of the Chinese Market. We can offer individual portions or an entire program.

Sourcing

So you know you need to get product from China to be competitive. Great, now what? For every factory that actually “makes” a product, there are at least 15 entities that claim to be “the factory” and are really just well disguised middlemen and brokers. How do you know? You can’t from here, in fact, it is still not that easy to do if you are there, unless you know what to ask, what to look for and how to peel back the layers to the true manufacturing facility. Only at this level can you realize the level of control and pricing that is required to be successful. We have peeled back this onion layer by layer many times, and we are extremely proficient at doing this.

Contract Negotiation

Now you have identified a number of true factories for the product you need. Which is best for you? How much control can you exercise? Which is the best “partner” to invest your time and resources in? Here again we have the hands on experience to cut through the rhetoric and cultural pitfalls and get down to the business at hand. Purchasing

We can act as your purchasing site in country in China. This is especially important if you are dealing with multiple products and or factories as combining product for cost effective movement and handling can save or cost a ton of money depending on how well or poorly it is orchestrated. Scheduling and MRP issues are easier to deal with the closer to the point of production you can be.

Logistics Management

Just as locating the right “factory” from a sea of pretenders is crucial so to is identifying the freight and customs organizations who are the real thing, versus those that are just fronts or brokers. Can you tell the difference? Likely not till you’ve been burned and wasted a lot of money on the wrong horse. We have been around this block plenty of times and this facet alone can make or break your entire enterprise
